~ Welcome to Cedar Ridge ~
 
On behalf of the Cedar Ridge Owners' Association, we would like to welcome you to Cedar Ridge.  Cedar Ridge is located just south of I-80 within minutes of the Utah Olympic Park and two major ski resorts - Park City and Deer Valley
 
We hope you will find Cedar Ridge a lovely and enjoyable place to live.  About 50% of the residents live here full time while the other 50% enjoy the neighborhood for only part of the year. 
 
Cedar Ridge is a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Subdivision.  As such, the subdivision is made up of units owned and occupied by owners and Common Areas owned by a non-profit corporation called Cedar Ridge Owners' Association.  The affairs are conducted by a Board of Trustees and are governed by the Bylaws, the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R's) and Policies of Cedar Ridge.  The CC&R's should have been included with your closing documents when you purchased your property.  If you haven't received a copy of the governing documents, including the Association’s resolutions and policies, please access them on this website under the Governing Documents section.  Please also see the Owner's Handbook and refer to the Frequently Asked Questions.
 
 

~ Notifications ~
PAINTING:
The community painting project is scheduled to begin on June 1, 2026. Please review the tentative schedule below for a list of the units being fully painted and their anticipated work dates.  Additionally, touch-up and log painting will occur as the painting crew moves through the community.
 
To help ensure the work proceeds safely and efficiently, we ask that all effected homeowners remove patio furniture, decorations, potted plants, grills, and any other exterior personal items from patios, balconies, entryways, and surrounding work areas prior to the start of painting in your area. Any items left in work areas may need to be temporarily moved by the contractor at the homeowner’s risk.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this improvement project as we work to enhance the appearance and maintenance of Cedar Ridge.
 
ROOF REPLACEMENTS:
Roofing work for select units is expected to begin in June 2026.

The roofing contractor will be moving from building to building throughout the community, and the full project is anticipated to take 8–10 weeks to complete.

Important – Satellite Dishes:
If you have a satellite dish installed through your roofing shingles, you will need to contact your service provider as soon as possible to have it removed and relocated.

Satellite dishes cannot be reinstalled through the roofing shingles. They must be mounted to the fascia or another approved location. Installing through the roof can void the new roof warranty and increase the risk of future leaks.

It is also important that any cables associated with satellite dishes are not attached to the roof at any point. This is a preventative measure to protect the integrity of the new roofing system.

We recommend coordinating with your provider ahead of time to avoid any interruption in service during the roofing process.

~ Upcoming Events ~
2026 Backflow Testing
Tuesday, May 12, 2026 to Monday, July 20, 2026
Dear Cedar Ridge Homeowner,
I am organizing the collective Backflow and Fire Suppression testing this year for the residents of Cedar Ridge. The testing will be done by Fire Services, Inc. on August 3,4, 5 and 6.
 
The fees this year are at $130 for the fire suppression inspections (these are required by our HOA to be done every two years) and $85 for the back flow test (these are required by the State of Utah to be done every year; Fire Services will turn in the necessary paperwork to Gorgoza Water Company). It is the homeowners responsibility to turn in the certificate for the fire suppression test; however, Fire Services has been kind enough to forward those to our board if you have testing done during the neighborhood testing time. Payment is due at the time of service and there will be a $20 extra fee charged if payment is not made at the time of
service. You may use a check or credit card for payment. If you would like to pay in advance, you can call Fire Services at 801-676-8850 to pay in advance with a credit card.
 
To sign up for testing or if you have any questions, please email me at rmcheney1954@gmail.com. I will be the only contact for this sign up; please DO NOT contact our management company regarding this testing. In your email to me, please include what testing you would like to have done (Backflow only or both tests), your street address and your contact phone number that I can pass on to the Fire Services technicians the day of testing. Scheduling will be mapped to make the best use of the technician’s time and I will be making the schedule and sending it out a couple weeks before testing, showing which day and approximate time (morning or afternoon) your testing will be done.
 
Please note that I will not be able to accommodate special date/time requests and I cannot be responsible for letting Fire Services technicians into any units.
 
If you are not able to participate in the neighborhood testing, you may contact Fire Services yourself to schedule a time that better suits your schedule. The contact for Fire Services is 801-676-8850 or there are other testing companies. I believe our units must be tested before August 30. Know that Fire Services gives us a bit of a cost break if testing is done during the collaborative neighborhood testing times.
 
You must be signed up for the neighborhood testing no later than July 20 so that I have time to make the schedule.

2026 Recycling & Trash Pick-Up Schedule
Please note that glass containers are not recyclable but can be dropped off at the bins in the Jeremy Ranch Park and Ride lot (near the Jeremy Store) as well as the Ecker Hill Park and Ride lot across from the Ecker Hill Middle School.
